Hike: Uzungöl – Sumela Monastery – Trabzon
Join us for a three‑day tour towards Trabzon, where you’ll explore the enchanting lake Uzungöl nestled in the Pontic Mountains, the ancient historic monastery of Sumela, and of course the city of Trabzon with its sights.

Tour description
Day I
– Departure from Tbilisi at 04:00.
– 11:30 stop in Batumi (those who wish may join here).
– 13:00 border procedures at Sarpi Customs (ID card or passport required, valid for at least 6 months).
– 16:00 arrival in Trabzon, check‑in at the hotel.
– Evening stroll around the city, exploring beautiful views.
Day II
– 09:00 breakfast.
– Visit Sumela Monastery – an ancient historic site.
– Visit a small Hagia Sophia church in Trabzon.
– Visit the spectroscopy‑beauty of the Trabzon Aquarium.
– Evening free time: you may stroll the “Forum Trabzon” mall. Return to the hotel.
Day III
– 09:00 breakfast.
– Departure to Uzungöl Lake – a fairy‑tale spot in the Pontic Mountains that will leave an unforgettable impression. 
– Around 14:00 departure toward Tbilisi, arriving back around 23:00.

Tbilisi
