Hike to the Ninoskhevi Waterfall (The Roaring Waterfall) in Lagodekhi National Park

PROGRAM

We’ll hike through Lagodekhi National Park — one of the oldest and most beautiful nature reserves in Georgia. Located on the slopes of the Greater Caucasus, it features a unique subtropical microclimate.

This hike includes some challenges: a steep ascent with about 500 m elevation gain.
Distance: ~7 km one way (same route back, mostly downhill).
Difficulty: moderate forest hike.

Final destination: Ninoskhevi Waterfall (40 m) — a powerful and breathtaking sight.

We’ll have a picnic — please bring your own food (we’ll stop at a supermarket on the way out of the city).

What to bring:

  • Comfortable hiking shoes (thick, non-slip sole)

  • Comfortable clothes

  • At least 1L of water per person

  • Small backpack

  • Sunscreen and a hat

Location

Tbilisi
