Heladosi

The play is based on the well-known work Heladosi by Nodar Dumbadze and tells the story of an orphaned teenage boy who tries to find his place in a new environment while living with his aunt in Sukhumi. He meets a Greek street boy, Yanguli, with whom he often argues and fights. The situation changes dramatically when the Greeks living in Sukhumi return to their homeland: Yanguli and Jemali become friends. Yet Yanguli does not want to leave for Greece…
