Description

"The Boy and the Bird" is a full-length anime film directed by Hayao Miyazaki. The original title is taken from Yoshino Genzaburo's 1937 book of the same name, but the plot of the film is in no way related to the novel. In North American release the film was called "The Boy and the Heron".
