Colchis is the ancient kingdom located on the lands of modern-day Georgia. Its history is shrouded in numerous myths and legends.

The ancient Greeks envisioned it as a distant, rich country filled with gold. The land was ruled by the son of the Sun god, King Aeëtes. In the Caucasus Mountains, the titan Prometheus was chained, having given fire to humanity. It was here that the brave Argonauts arrived in search of a legendary artifact.
