Georgia's Black Sea Coast — From the Tropics to the Lighthouse
Tour Description
What if, just for one day, you left the mountains behind and explored Georgia's beautiful Black Sea coastline instead?
Most tours from Batumi head into the mountains. This is the only tour that follows the coast all the way from Batumi to Poti, revealing a completely different side of Georgia—peaceful seaside towns, the scent of pine trees, salty sea air, and the relaxed rhythm of the coast.
In a single day, you'll stroll through a tropical grove of Japanese banana trees, explore the 1,500-year-old Petra Fortress overlooking the Black Sea, and walk along the promenade of Kobuleti, Georgia's second-largest seaside resort.
You'll "travel across" the whole country in just an hour at the Georgia in Miniatures Park, encounter pink flamingos among centuries-old trees, climb to the observation deck of the historic Poti Lighthouse—as tall as a twelve-story building—and finish the day swimming at the peaceful sandy beach of Maltakva.
No winding mountain roads—just the sea, history, and the laid-back atmosphere of Georgia's Black Sea coast.

The port city and Black Sea resort of Batumi is the capital of the Georgian Republic of Adjara. The Batumi Boulevard runs along the seafront, a park, and a beach. The 130-meter-high Alphabet Tower, featuring inscriptions in the Georgian script, houses an observation deck with stunning sea views. In the Old Town, you can see many reconstructed 19th-century buildings. In the northern part of Batumi lies the botanical garden, home to plants from around the world.
