“Georgian Treasure” — Erisioni

On October 30, at the Tbilisi Sports Palace, the Georgian State Academic Ensemble of Song and Dance Erisioni will present its show program “Georgian Treasure.”

Over the course of 90 minutes, audiences will experience new vocal pieces that have never previously been part of Erisioni’s repertoire and have been developed over an extended period by the ensemble’s artistic director and choirmaster. The program will also feature new choreographic works, including traditional dance pieces rediscovered by the chief choreographer and brought to the stage.

“Georgian Treasure” combines Erisioni’s unique musical and choreographic traditions with contemporary stage concepts. Audiences can expect a distinctive synthesis of Georgian song and dance, centuries-old tradition, and modern performing arts.
