This course is designed for anyone who would like to learn the fundamentals of painting through a structured and practical approach.

The program includes work on gesture sketches, tonal exercises, still life studies and form analysis, quick observational studies from life, and exercises focused on color activation and development.

Throughout the course, participants will gradually explore the fundamental principles of painterly thinking — from the initial concept to a completed composition.

The course is led by Temur Chkhutishvili, a painter with more than 40 years of teaching experience.
