On August 21st, G2 will host Roman, a Tbilisi-born DJ and producer who played a pivotal role in shaping Georgia’s contemporary techno scene. He began his DJing career in Tbilisi in 2013 and later became a core resident artist at KHIDI. Now a former resident, he previously stepped back from playing for an extended period but is set to return to the decks for an upcoming event. Joining him is Comethisfar, a local DJ and vinyl devotee, resident at Batumi’s KIBE. Drawing inspiration from contemporary innovators, he seeks to infuse classic techno with a fresh perspective, ensuring its relevance for the future. Completing the lineup is Fukumachi, a local DJ and producer, whose musical adventure spans over half a decade. His sonic tapestries blend tribal, hypnotic, and fast-paced techno.
