First Meeting of the Teen Book Club

Together with Lika Rodina — educator, enlightener, and creator of the YouTube channel "OkKult", we will discuss:

How to write a story that grabs attention from the very first lines?

What makes a character truly alive?

Should books teach something, or can we simply enjoy them?

How to properly ask books questions and find answers in them?

At the end of the meeting, we will read and discuss Vladimir Nabokov’s short story "The Dragon" — a tale about a mythical monster that turns out not to be a hero of legends, but rather a victim of human fears and indifference.
