Ki Taek's family lives in a basement and makes a meager living by assembling pizza boxes. The situation changes when Ki-Woo's eldest son, thanks to a friend's recommendation, a fake diploma, and natural charm, gets a job as an English tutor for the daughter of businessman Park. Finding himself in a luxurious house, the guy finds a very non-trivial way to solve his family's problems.
