The film is based on the novel by Elmore Leonard. The heroine, named Jackie Brown, works as a flight attendant and moonlights by smuggling cash into the country for an arms dealer. Everything is going great until she is arrested by federal agents. She can remain free only by pawning the dealer. The risky girl decides to steal “half a green lemon” and get rid of the arms dealer.
