Description
A black comedy about a guy called Dude—an unemployed slacker who finds himself in the midst of absurd coincidences. It contains endless mockery, a whirlwind of events, a complete unraveling of the plot, and, most importantly, excellently conceived and played characters.
This film, as it sometimes happens, was not immediately appreciated by the public. Critics didn't give it much importance, and some even called it the Coen brothers' worst work. However, over time, it gathered a whole crowd of fans around it. Books have been written about it, websites have been created, annual festivals named after Lebowski are held, and a whole philosophical doctrine based on the image of the main character has emerged. Many quotes from the characters have become iconic.
