Everything Went Fine

The film is based on the true story of a Parisian family. An elderly man has had a stroke. He doesn't want to be a burden to himself or others, so as soon as he regains consciousness, he asks his two adult daughters to help him "end this." His children not only have to accept his choice but also find a way to carry out his wishes.

This is a simple and delicate film about the impossibility and necessity of letting go, made by Ozon in memory of a recently departed loved one.
