Elene Akhvlediani House Museum – a museum in Tbilisi, part of the Georgian National Museum, was founded in 1976 on the basis of the apartment-workshop of the Georgian artist Elene Akhvlediani, where she lived and worked from 1938 to 1975.
The museum preserves the interior of Akhvlediani’s apartment, her canvases, pastel paintings, graphics, a large collection of folk ceramics and metalware collected by the artist, and photographs (more than 3,200 exhibits in total).
Since 2004 – unified in the Legal Entity under Public Law (LEPL) – Georgian National Museum under the governmental control of Ministry of Culture and Monuments Protection of Georgia
