On Sunday afternoon, October 4, join us for a session dedicated to education and to how children and university students study in modern-day Georgia.
Have you recently moved to Georgia, are you raising children here, or do you simply want to better understand the local education system? Then this session is for you.
We’ll discuss school curricula, grading, exams, holidays, languages of instruction, homework, and alternative forms of education.
We’ll also take a closer look at special education, vocational colleges, and universities.
The session will be led by Giorgi — a journalist, historian, and Georgian citizen.
Drawing on his experience, you’ll be able not only to understand the official structure of Georgia’s education system, but also to gain insight into how it actually works in practice.
