Description

We’re Going to the Amazing Sabadur Forest for a Walk and Horseback Riding!

The tour will be led by our friend Mikhail, a native of Tbilisi, who has been organizing tours, hiking, and travel for over 10 years. He’s an energetic and very interesting guide!

We’ll start with the bear sanctuary (feeding the bears, wolves, foxes, and dogs, and hearing amazing stories about these animals). Feel free to bring some food for the dogs, fruits, or vegetables. The entrance to the sanctuary is 5₾, which goes towards its maintenance.

After that, we’ll take a pleasant walk to a monastery hidden in the peaceful forest (a light stroll).

Next, we’ll explore the majestic Sabadur Forest, where we can enjoy the fresh air and Instagram-worthy landscapes.

And the main attraction – the ranch, where we’ll meet friendly, calm, and graceful horses. We’ll go horseback riding through the mountains, enjoying the freedom, harmony, and breathtaking views around us.

This tour is suitable for both experienced riders and beginners (we’ll accompany everyone on horseback).

We’ll take some snacks with us, although sometimes we all stop by a café together. The group is small, so we can decide on the spot.

Tbilisi
Tbilisi, Georgia
Tbilisi is the capital and the largest city of Georgia, lying on the banks of the Kura River with a population of around 1.2 million people. Tbilisi was founded in the fifth century AD by Vakhtang I of Iberia, and since then has served as the capital of various Georgian kingdoms and republics. Because of its location at the crossroads between Europe and Asia, and its proximity to the lucrative Silk Road, throughout history, Tbilisi has been a point of contention among various global powers. To this day, the city's location ensures its position as an important transit route for energy and trade projects. Tbilisi's history is reflected in its architecture, which is a mix of medieval, neoclassical, Beaux Arts, Art Nouveau, Stalinist, and Modern structures. Historically, Tbilisi has been home to people of multiple cultural, ethnic, and religious backgrounds, though its population is overwhelmingly Eastern Orthodox Christian.
