Eclectic Soul: A Night Of Eclectic Soul Food Paired With Select Georgian Wines

Join us on Saturday, April 27th, at 7pm for an exclusive dining event hosted by Wine Merchants. Winemaker Irakli Cholobargia of Wet Dog and chef Marco North set out to do something different, and substantial, not just another wine and food pairing. Everything that is served (bread, preserves, pickles) is made by hand. The evening will include five wines, and an imaginative five course menu of dishes that know no borders. Soul food is a term that can mean so many things, and this menu explores that concept. From the shrimp croquette that bridges Andalusia and New Orleans, to the Char Siu pork that walks through China, Italy, Louisiana and Georgia, the balance of the dish and the balance of the wine are at the heart of each pairing.

The wine list will include two limited edition Pet Nats from Wet Dog, as well as selections from , Anapea, Lagvinari, and Simon Chkheidze’s Marani. You will meet the passionate winemakers behind these exceptional selections, who will be on hand to present their creations and share their stories. With a limited availability of only 20 seats, this intimate gathering promises an exceptional culinary adventure.
