Description

The Caucasus Institute of Gestalt Therapy and Family Psychotherapy (Tbilisi, Georgia) continues enrollment for its EAGT-accredited Gestalt Therapy Training Program, developed in accordance with the standards of the European Association for Gestalt Therapy (EAGT).

Designed to meet international educational requirements, the program combines comprehensive theoretical training, supervised clinical practice, and extensive personal development.

Program Overview

📅 Duration: 2025–2029

📍 Format: Hybrid (on-site and online)

The curriculum follows the complete European Gestalt Therapy training standard and provides a structured progression from theory to clinical practice.

From the third year onward, participants begin supervised psychotherapy practice within the Institute's clinical setting.

Program Structure

The Institute provides:

  • 600 hours of Gestalt theory and methodology;
  • 200 hours of group psychotherapy;
  • 100 hours of group supervision.

Additional optional modules include psychodiagnostics, developmental psychology, clinical psychology, psychiatry, psychosomatics, and related disciplines.

Participants also complete personal therapy, individual supervision, independent clinical practice, peer supervision, and international professional development activities.

International Opportunities

Students may participate in educational programs offered by European and American Gestalt institutes, conduct research, attend international conferences and symposia, and receive discounts on selected international training events.

Certification

Graduates receive:

📜 an International Diploma in Gestalt Therapy;

📜 European EAGT Accreditation;

📜 EPA Accreditation.

After successfully completing the third year, participants obtain Gestalt Practitioner status and begin supervised clinical practice.

Vice President and Executive Committee Secretary of the European Association for Gestalt Therapy (EAGT), President of the Georgian Association of Psychologists and Psychotherapists, and Founder & General Director of the Caucasus Institute of Gestalt Therapy and Family Psychotherapy.

The faculty includes internationally recognized trainers and supervisors from across Europe.
