Theatrical improv jam (long form).
In long form, we play stories consisting of several scenes. We focus on characters, storytelling, and improvisation with a partner.
The jam is a practical lesson where we hone:
— Creating characters
— Understanding the structure of a story from several scenes
— Creating different types of plots
— Where to start a scene and how to end it
— Interacting with partners on stage
— Comedy techniques in scenes
At each jam, we do a warm-up and exercises, formats from one scene and several, we play free form improvisation.
The jam is suitable for improvisers with different levels of training, as well as for those who have never played a long form at all.
