The main character is Sganarelle. A curious thing happened with Sganarelle, namely: Sganarelle is mistaken for a famous doctor who, as rumors say, “works miracles.” “Patients” naively offer Sganarelle huge sums of money for his miracle drug, which in reality, of course, does not exist. The resourceful Sganarelle quickly gets rich, although he does not forget to do good deeds and manages to “cure” even the most severe “sick people”, a couple in love.
