Before jazz became sophisticated, smoky, and mysterious, it was loud, joyful, and born in the streets — music that makes it impossible to sit still.
This is Dixieland — one of the earliest styles of jazz, born in New Orleans at the beginning of the 20th century. Bright brass, playful improvisation, marching rhythms, the bold groove of the banjo, and the feeling that the whole band is having an incredible time — and taking you along for the ride.
On October 9, UHab will transform into a little corner of New Orleans in the heart of Tbilisi.
Trumpet, trombone, tuba, drums, guitar, clarinet, and banjo — the full Dixieland sound: warm, vibrant, and wonderfully chaotic in the best possible way.
Expect swinging rhythms, spontaneous solos, vintage charm, and music that will make you feel as though a lively street parade has suddenly marched right into the room.
