Conductor’s Workshop

At this meeting, children will learn:

• What is an orchestra and how does it function
• How are different instruments used to score silent films
• They will learn the function of a conductor and, most importantly, they will conduct themselves
• They will play a guessing game: which instrument is used in different parts of Disney cartoons
• They will try these instruments themselves and compose a simple rhythm
