Di Kurtzman is a modern-day troubadour from Saint Petersburg. He draws inspiration from Celtic folk and Renaissance music, Soviet film romances and songs, 1960s rock, as well as his own travels and experiences. Di is the main songwriter and singer for the renowned folk-rock band The Dartz. Even if you're unfamiliar with the band, you’ve likely heard the song about the Cutty Sark fire, the haunting "Lights of Samhain," the powerful chorus of "When the Sea Calls You," or the chilling ballads "Cherepovets" and "Pain and Voronezh." These are all Di Kurtzman’s creations. Di is bringing a new program, "Quattrocento", featuring the best songs of past years along with his newest material, such as "Zhytomyr" and "Another Life" — songs that vividly and unmistakably reflect the author’s anti-war stance.
