Coffee and Cigarettes

Iggy Pop, Tom Waits, Roberto Benigni, Steve Buscemi, Cate Blanchett, and other friends of Jarmusch are sitting at tables in the cafe. They drink coffee, smoke and chat in that specific way when people are just great together and it's not so important what to talk about. The film promotes an unhealthy lifestyle, contains scenes of smoking and catch phrases like «Cigarettes and coffee, man, that's a combination!»

Jarmusch took his time shooting this movie. Scene after scene. And so for 17 years.
