"Clytemnestra's Session" is an original play by Giorgi Kashia, reimagining the ancient Greek myth through the lens of contemporary psychology.
Set inside the royal palace, the story follows Queen Clytemnestra, who is haunted by the sins of her past and tormented by chronic insomnia. Seeking relief, she turns to psychotherapist Elias Varon, hoping that therapy will help her find peace.
As the session unfolds, it gradually transforms into a symbolic courtroom where Clytemnestra herself stands accused, turning the therapeutic conversation into a profound exploration of guilt, responsibility, justice, and the human condition.
