“City of Loving Hearts”
On February 14 — Valentine’s Day — Anna German was born, a Polish and Soviet singer whose voice, femininity, and life story captured hearts around the world.
Her songs are filled with tenderness, memory, and intimacy. For several generations, Anna German has become a symbol of love, a voice of family connection, and an embodiment of nostalgia.
This Saturday, we invite you to immerse yourself in an atmosphere of sincere emotion and hear her romances performed live — including “Echo of Love,” “Lullaby,” and of course “Torna a Surriento” in Italian.
The performance will feature Mariko Vardi, Svetlana Naginskaya, Dmitry Idrisov, Olesya Zagrava, Diana Avaliani, Mikhail Volgin, and other admirers of the “singing angel of Europe.”
