"Mr. Nobody" (2009)
What if you could live all possible lives — would you choose just one?
Try to figure it out with me in a lecture and discussion of the postmodern drama about a man who didn’t make a choice — and lived all the consequences at once.
What we will talk about:
The illusion of choice and the anxiety of uncertainty.
Fear of choice as a form of existential anxiety.
How memory, identity, and love shape our perception of fate.
Meeting format: mini-lecture → screening → tea and conversation (we can deviate from the plan if the discussion goes deep — this is a valuable part of the process).
