Somewhere beyond the Solar System, the crew of a spacecraft embarks on an unusual mission: reaching the black hole closest to Earth. Renowned French filmmaker Claire Denis, at the age of 70, directed her first English-language film—and her first venture into sci-fi. Yet this is only nominal science fiction, a work that provokes bitter reflections on human nature and nods respectfully to Tarkovsky.

 The meeting will be hosted by philosopher and film scholar (and co-founder of the cinema) Varya Vlasova.
