A warm and heartfelt story about a boy who loved cinema so much that he grew up to become a famous film director. As a child, he spent all his free time at the local Cinema Paradiso, where he befriended the projectionist, who allowed him into the projection booth and let him watch every screening.
The projectionist’s job is not easy: every film must first be shown to the local priest. If he spots kisses, embraces, or any hint of an improper relationship, those scenes must be physically cut from the film reel with scissors.
