Description

Join us this Saturday for a charity improv workshop.

 

During this session, you will:

- do exercises to loosen up and connect with your partners

- learn to create entire worlds starting from just a single word

- get introduced to the core improv rule of "Yes, and"—where your idea is supported and built upon through interaction with your partner

- practice quick thinking and idea generation

- master techniques for navigating any situation

- perform your first improv formats

- have a great time in a comfortable, supportive environment

 

The workshop will be led by Dmitry Leonov—head of the Improv Tbilisi community, improv instructor, member of the Moscow Improv Club, winner of the Podmoskovnaya Improv League, and a finalist in the "Caspian" division of the "Improv Teams" project.

 

All proceeds will go to the volunteer organization Chongari Dogs.

 

Registration is required; space is limited.

Tbilisi
Tbilisi is the capital and the largest city of Georgia, lying on the banks of the Kura River with a population of around 1.2 million people. Tbilisi was founded in the fifth century AD by Vakhtang I of Iberia, and since then has served as the capital of various Georgian kingdoms and republics. To this day, the city's location ensures its position as an important transit route for energy and trade projects. Tbilisi's history is reflected in its architecture, which is a mix of medieval, neoclassical, Beaux Arts, Art Nouveau, Stalinist, and Modern structures. Historically, Tbilisi has been home to people of multiple cultural, ethnic, and religious backgrounds, though its population is overwhelmingly Eastern Orthodox Christian.
