Swedish psy-ambient pioneers Carbon Based Lifeforms are embarking on an expansive transcendental journey — and for the first time in their 30-year history, they are coming to Georgia.

The project of Johannes Hedberg and Daniel Segerstad, whose releases on Ultimae Records have long achieved cult status within the genre, is bringing more than just a concert to Tbilisi — a monumental audiovisual ritual.

At the heart of this musical journey is the 20th anniversary of the iconic album “World of Sleepers”, a record that has long earned its place among the defining works of modern ambient music.

The audience will have a rare opportunity to immerse themselves in the hypnotic depths of this legendary album as the duo presents updated and meticulously reworked live versions of selected “World of Sleepers” favourites, woven together with essential material from their later years, including explorations from their 2023 album “Seeker.”

The Tbilisi performance will carry another special significance: the audience will be among the first to hear a completely new, unreleased composition from CBL’s forthcoming album. The setlist will bring together timeless pieces that have endured for decades and the duo’s latest explorations into the deepest dimensions of sound.

For devoted listeners and collectors of musical artefacts, there will also be a chance to take a piece of this journey home. Vinyl editions of CBL albums will be available alongside limited-edition T-shirts created especially for this tour.
