Boris Pasternak. My Life My Sister

On Saturday, January 21st, in Tbilisi, at the Theater Hall of the Georgian Literature Museum, there will be an evening in honor of Boris Pasternak's birthday! Larisa Novoseltseva's one-man show, "My Sister, My Life," is an emotional immersion into the poet's life and work. The program will feature Boris Pasternak's poems, songs, ballads, and romances based on his poetry (music by L. Novoseltseva), excerpts from prose and letters, memoirs, and dedications. The different periods of the poet's life, like the different seasons of the year, will be revealed to guests through Boris Pasternak's poetry. And, of course, the Tbilisi program will specifically highlight Georgia in Pasternak's life and work, his translations from Georgian, his friendship with Georgian poets, and especially with Titian Tabidze, whom he called his brother and even his god.
