Blues Festival

The IX International Lagodekhi Blues Festival is back — promising unforgettable summer nights this July. This year’s edition brings together true kings of blues and is set to take a distinguished place on the global blues map.

On July 5, the festival will open with The Kings of Blues (USA) — members of the legendary bands of B.B. King and James Brown, joined by Kenny Wayne, winner of the 2024 Grammy Award.

On July 12, the stage of Blues Village in Lagodekhi will host the incomparable Claudette King, daughter of the legendary B.B. King, and Luca Giordano (Italy).

On July 19, one of the most captivating contemporary blues and soul performers — Shana Waterstown, this year’s festival resident — will take the stage. The American vocalist and her band will bring special charm to the event.

On August 2, the final concert of the festival will feature Sir Waldo Weathers, a saxophone virtuoso, performing with his band.
