The main character of the performance is a young boy named René, who dreams of learning a profession and starting his own path in life. His journey is not easy: he meets people from many different professions and observes their lives while trying to understand his own calling.
A decisive encounter with a master ultimately shapes his destiny. René realizes that he wants to devote his life to the art of acting, which will open the path to the stage.
Although there is tenderness and sentiment in his voice, René is also a fighter and a seeker of his own fate. Overcoming obstacles and enduring hardship, he continues toward his goal and eventually becomes an actor.
Standing on the long-awaited big stage, he encourages himself: “Only forward, René!”
In his heart a blue bonfire begins to burn — a flame that does not burn but warms. Its warmth spreads to the audience as well.
This performance awakens deep and uplifting emotions not only in children but also in adults.
Duration: 40 minutes.
