Beyond Borders: Arto Tunçboyacıyan and Georgian Masters of Free Improvisation

The summer session of the XIV International Festival of Contemporary Experimental and Ethno-Avant-Garde Art Noumen Art continues the series of events launched this spring.

This time, we present a concert by the legendary American multi-instrumentalist of Armenian descent, GRAMMY Award-winner Arto Tunçboyacıyan, in collaboration with renowned Georgian musicians Rezo Kiknadze (saxophone) and Guram Machavariani (guitar). The concert will be held in a free improvisation format.

With their rich experience, the musicians will create their performance live on stage — without any prior arrangement. His music spans jazz, folk, rock, and world music. In Tbilisi, his performance with Rezo Kiknadze and Guram Machavariani promises an unprecedented synergy.
