BDC X APKHAZETI — The Fifth Element

The Apkhazeti State Ensemble and Bachana's Dance Company

Throughout November, every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, BDC Stage will host a unique celebration of Georgian dance. Two outstanding dance companies and three entirely different choreographic worlds will come together on one stage.

A Choreographic Triptych:

Every Friday: Apkhazeti Ensemble — “Aimadara” (traditional energy and folkloric heritage)

Every Saturday: Apkhazeti Ensemble — “Choreonicon” (modern Georgian folk dance, a new chronicle of movement)

Every Sunday: Bachana's Dance Company — “The Fifth Element” (a mystical choreographic performance)

Choose your day and discover the transformation of Georgian dance, from tradition to modernity.
