Bauhaus

Bauhaus is not just an art school founded in 1919 in Germany, but a world-famous cultural phenomenon that first united art, craft, and industrial production.

The "Bauhaus style" is functionality, minimalism, comfort, and aesthetics, where form follows function, material, and technology, yet still remains art.

The school will change three directors, three locations, build and equip its complex of educational and residential buildings, and be closed in 1933. However, the people and ideas of Bauhaus will begin their independent journey around the world.
