Renowned Georgian pianist Shorena Tsintsabadze will present music from the 17th and 18th centuries. An engaging narrative about the grand era will be accompanied by live performances of works by Bach, Vivaldi, Gluck, and Handel.

What is Baroque, and why is it called a pearl of irregular shape? How did opera originate, and why has the story of Orpheus and Eurydice become so iconic? How did the perception of the world and music shift in the 17th and 18th centuries?
