Bar on the red planet

Mars, the year 3333. Hiding from a storm in the lobby bar of a hotel at the spaceport, a diverse crowd is gathering: guests, businessmen, immigrants, military personnel, and representatives of other civilizations.

Not long ago, humanity began exploring space and encountered other civilizations. Space and its exploration is a promising and profitable venture for some, and a highly ambiguous direction for others, as there are both supporters and opponents of colonizing other planets.

At the new meeting of the trainers' school in civil education, we will conduct a role-playing game called "The Bar on the Red Planet," in which participants will explore the motives behind human behavior in situations of complex ethical choices and, perhaps, will gain a new perspective on issues that once seemed clear-cut. The game will also delve into themes of colonization, colonies and metropolises, imperialist mindsets, and the acceptable ways to fight for human rights and democracy.
