Special Screening of the Film "A Chef in Love"

In the mid-90s, Georgian director Nana Jorjadze made a film starring Pierre Richard—a story about a French traveling chef who, in the 1910s, finds himself in Georgia by fate.

After three months of filming in Tbilisi, Richard not only gained his signature beard but also developed a deep love for the country. Neither the lack of hot water nor an assassination attempt on President Eduard Shevardnadze, which happened just steps away from the set, could diminish this affection.

The film crew stayed at the Iliani Hotel in Vera. Today, this very place is home to our space, Papers, where on February 4, we will watch "A Chef in Love" on the big screen.
