Description
Nodar Macharashvili's historical novel "Avi Musaifi" deals with the life of one of the most beloved and tragically fateful kings of Georgia, Erekle II, and the politically difficult era in which he had to live. Director Dimitri Khvtisiashvili is the author of the stage version and staging of the play of the same name by the Tbilisi Youth Theater. This is the first attempt to stage a novel of this historical-artistic genre in the Georgian theater. The play describes the historical vicissitudes of the era of Erekle II, in which the most difficult reality of modern Georgia is reflected to some extent; Love and hate, loyalty and betrayal, disappointment and faith, war, struggle and intrigue, devotion to the motherland, morality and eternal values.
