In the early 19th century, several hundred German families travelled thousands of kilometres to establish new settlements in the Caucasus. In 1941, their story came to an abrupt end when the Soviet authorities deported almost the entire German population to Kazakhstan and Siberia.

During this one-day tour, we will visit the key sites connected to the history of Georgia's German communities, learn about the lives of the early settlers, and discover what has survived nearly 200 years later.

This journey offers a fascinating opportunity to explore a lesser-known chapter of Georgian history, admire the unique architectural and cultural heritage of the German colonies, and experience Asureti and Bolnisi from a completely new perspective.
