We invite you to an evening excursion to the Georgian National Astrophysical Observatory in Abastumani!

After a scenic drive up the winding mountain road, we will arrive at the first high-mountain observatory opened in the USSR. A guided tour of the observatory museum awaits us, along with a fascinating story from an astronomer-guide.

And when night falls, we’ll observe the starry sky through one of the observatory’s telescopes!
