Description

Romantic drama based on the poem of the same name by the great Russian poet Mikhail Lermontov. Ashik-Kerib was poor, but he had a kind heart and a beautiful voice. He played the saaz, a Turkish balalaika, glorifying the ancient knights of Turkestan, and performed at festivals and weddings.
