Alice Gorshenina (Alice Hualice) is a multidisciplinary artist. She has been participating in Russian and international exhibitions since 2013. From 2013 to 2016, she was the founder and member of the art group Second Hand.
Her work follows the authorial concept of "self-artification" — the merging of life and art. In her practice, the personal grows into the mythological, becoming a way to speak to the outside world.
Her main media include masquerade practices and techniques of decorative and applied arts — especially textiles and ceramics — as well as classical painting and drawing. Additionally, she works with photography, video art, and animation.
