Anna’s Moment

Young and successful writer Anna Nakashidze suddenly loses her memory. Medical examinations confirm that there is no physiological cause for her amnesia. Her husband, an investigator, and a psychotherapist begin to suspect that she may not actually be ill.

Gradually, this strange story grows far beyond her personal circumstances, crosses national borders, and becomes the beginning of widespread unrest — continuing until the entire world unites in demanding the truth.

The short novel “Anna’s Moment” is, on one hand, the voice of the Third World — a voice that fails to reach today’s highly developed countries and is met with indifference. On the other, it explores what may lie at the root of violence and terrorism.
