Tbilisi State Russian Drama Theater named after A. Griboyedov - the first professional theater group in the Caucasus, the oldest Russian theater in the post-Soviet space. The theater was founded in Tbilisi on September 20, 1845 by the Governor of the Caucasus, Count M. At the request of Vorontsov.
