We've designed the program so you can systematically develop both your internal skills and your stage presence.
What awaits you in the course?
- Focus and imagination: Training in attention, imagination, and concentration will help you engage in the moment and overcome any tension.
- The art of dialogue: we'll work in detail on your ability to feel and interact with your partner on stage (and in real life).
- A director's perspective: we'll learn how to effectively analyze a play and the fundamentals of dramaturgy. You'll understand how characters' logic works and why they act the way they do.
The main outcome of the course is a real performance!
We don't just learn theory; we move straight to practice. Our course will culminate in a full-length production of a play by the iconic playwright Martin McDonagh (author of the masterpieces "In Bruges," "The Banshee of Inisherin," and "The Cripple of Inishmaan").
Martin McDonagh is a master of dark humor, sharp dialogue, and profound psychological drama. Performing in his play is an incredible thrill, a challenge, and pure joy for any actor!
