During the course, you will explore theoretical and practical approaches to improving academic and cognitive skills in individuals with developmental disorders.

Course Structure (3 Modules):

Module I
Overview of developmental disorders and intervention methods:
— developmental patterns
— autism: learning strategies and dynamics
— intellectual disabilities
— ADHD: characteristics and approaches
— learning disorders: dyslexia, dysgraphia, dyscalculia

Module II
Cognitive development & learning strategies:
— attention (types, functions, development)
— memory and learning strategies
— perception and its development
— verbal thinking and communication
— literacy development

Module III
Academic skills:
— reading development (typical & dyslexia)
— reading assessment
— writing skills and diagnostics
— narrative skills
— mathematical skills
